  11. Hello!

I wanted to write and tell you about a new website for artists, musicians, fashion designers, and filmmakers: http://www.PutItOn.com. I’ve been using the site as an artist and have my work there, and am trying to support it because I believe in it. Basically, the site allows artists from all over the world to connect, display their portfolios, and sell their work (with NO commission taken!). The site gives artists a FREE gigabyte of space to showcase their portfolios, allows you to stream audio and video works, lets you create live personal broadcasts, and translates any writing into ten different languages. If you could take the time to visit the site, and if you like it too, let your readers know about it, and even sign up yourself or link to it on your site it would be greatly appreciated! We are trying to make a go of helping out artists everywhere and are trying to get the word out, so please help us out if you like the site after checking it out! Thank you!

    All the best,
    Sarah at PutItOn.com

  15. Looking to add a modern flair to the front of your house without breaking the bank? Then take a look at Modern House Numbers were you will find address numbers that match your style.

Stated in 2008 by two young architects searching for address numbers that would accentuate their renovated 1950’s modern home, they discovered such numbers were limited and expensive. Thus, Modern House Numbers was born to provide an alternative for homeowners who seek quality and style at an affordable price. Modern House Numbers provides a complete package of aluminum house numbers, mailbox numbers and curb stencils. Typefaces are available to match the style, personality or location with names like Soho, SoCal, Back Bay & South Beach.

These products are made from high quality recycled aluminum and exterior sign quality vinyl manufactured in the USA. House numbers are made from 3/8” thick aluminum, available in 4”, 6” & 8” high with ½” stand off’s to give it that great shadow look. Mailbox numbers are 3” high and available in a variety of modern colors. Complete the package with a 4” high curb stencil to paint your numbers.

  31. Hi :-)

I just wanted to present our industrial WAINGRO candlestick sustainably made in Denmark with the highest quality materials.

The last five years we have had great success in Scandinavia and now looking to create awareness on other markets and therefore have a modest hope that our story and rare product could be an interesting content of your blog.

The heavy duty stainless steel industrial candle stick – partly crafted and polished by hand – is a redesigned industrial component, that weighs more that 2 lbs each and adds value to any minimalist design environment. It is made of acid resistant stainless steel and FDA approved black rubber and measures 7” x 3”.

To see pictures and video of the candle stick please take a look at http://www.waingro.com

Thank you for your consideration regardless of outcome. I would be pleased to provide you more information, if needed.

    Best regards,

  34. Choose WISELY, Choose Melamine FREE!

FOH® Introduces Platewise™…A new TRUE GREEN Alternative

MIAMI, FL (November 2010): Front of the House® (FOH®) has developed a REVOLUTIONARY, NEW, stylish and TRUE GREEN alternative to traditional plastic and melamine dinnerware. Platewise™ has just been introduced to the national and international markets.

Made of natural bamboo – a highly renewable resource – and FREE of melamine, Platewise™ is a smart, non-toxic serving solution for all occasions. The dinnerware and serveware will stand up to rigorous commercial washings and easily decompose in a landfill. Platewise™ offers the perfect combination of style, function, and durability for a chef, as well as affordability and availability for a purchaser. For a guest, Platewise™ provides the reassurance of a beautiful and eco-friendly dining experience.

There is a strong emphasis on making wise choices and Platewise™ embodies all the characteristics that customers require. Style and durability are as important as Platewise™ being melamine-free, non-toxic and bio-degradable. It’s ideal for high volume, low-maintenance purchasers or for those who simply want to add a fresh, sophisticated yet natural element to plating. Dishwasher-safe is a phrase not associated with natural elements such as bamboo but Platewise™ defies traditional usability restrictions for bamboo. All products in the Platewise™ line have been tested — commercially washed thousands of times with no cracking or loss of lustre.

The Platewise™ collection is made of natural bamboo fiber…the rest is a secret recipe that we have been testing and perfecting for years. FOH® has been, and continues to be, committed to bringing to the Foodservice Industry, SAFE, stylish, GREEN, and budget-friendly serving solutions. No longer will controversial melamine be the only option for outdoor, casual, and institutional items.

Platewise™ is melamine-free, which means it is a safer, healthier choice than other products that contain the toxic ingredient. The FDA acknowledges that melamine can migrate into food from tableware under some circumstances. FOH® made the wise choice not to use melamine in any of its new, natural line, developing instead new technology that also improved durability. The technology used in the production of Platewise™ is exclusive to FOH®.

    Platewise™…eco-chic, eco-nomical and eco-logical.

Front of the House® (FOH®) designs and manufactures unique tableware and serveware for the hospitality trade, transforming the ordinary into modern elegance. Exploring the intersection of color, green materials, unique textures and bold shapes with an array of sizes, the Front of the House® (FOH®) design team is continuously inventing new concepts for creative mixing and matching designed to stimulate the senses. All Front of the House® (FOH®) products reflect remarkable craftsmanship, environmental sensitivity, durability and value.

Front of the House® (FOH®) and room360° by FOH® are located at 9315 Park Drive, Miami Shores, FL 33138. For information, call 305-757-7940 or visit http://www.frontofthehouse.com.

  38. Hello,

I wanted to suggest a product for your blog: Cluster Coasters. http://www.etsy.com/shop/simbiotekdesignlab?section_id=7486957

Cluster coasters draw inspiration from geometric patterns resulting in triangulated arrangements. Cluster them together as a trivet or break them apart to enjoy drinks with friends. These coasters will surely be a conversation starter as they can be arranged in many combinations like a puzzle.

Each set comes with 6 coasters. Buy 12 or 18 and create a larger pattern. The coasters fit within a 3.25″ radius and interlock with all coasters in the series so you can mix and match. They are coated to protect against water and germs, made of baltic birch and lasercut for precision.

Please let me know if you need any other information or bulk pricing should you be interested, we design all of the coasters out of sustainable fast-growing wood. These coasters have been featured on many blogs including Better Living Through Design, they are also featured in Mur Design Shop in Graz, Austria.

    Thanks for your time!
