The dining room of this Upper East Side Loft features the China Chair designed by Hans J Wegner in 1944. Designed by Chris Kraig, the home was featured in House and Garden's September 2007 issue.

This young Hollywood family wanted to update their home in a contemporary style with a Hollywood Glam flavor. The homeowner's wanted to work with some of their existing pieces such as the Florence Knoll sofa and credenza, Womb Chair and Barcelona chairs. The designer successfully combined these items with beautiful new pieces. The solid colored upholstery is tied together by the colors in the artwork which was created by the homeowner, a Los Angeles artist. The custom mirrored console designed for the entry is a glamorous focal point. The combination of these interesting pieces create a dynamic and unique aesthetic.

This 400 square foot master bathroom features a tasteful combination of stone and glass tile, a large walk-in shower with full his and hers amenities, Rohl fixtures designed by Michael Berman, and Artemide’s Logico light fixtures.

Updating this home to give it a contemporary glam flavor, Velvet Hammerschimdt combined upholstered pieces in a soft palate to highlight the bold artwork created by the homeowner, a Los Angeles artist. Metropolitan Home Magazine's LA Showhouse: Modern By Design, featured the work of ten interior designers including Barbara Barry, Xorin Balbes, Michael Berman, Fernando Diaz, Julie Eizenberg, Jarrett Hedborg, Antonia Hutt, Kerry Joyce, Michaela Scherrer and Marjorie Skouras. Jarrett Hedborg and partner Jeff Hiner, who created this lively and colorful cocktail room full of vibrant colors and elegant, art-deco furniture pieces features Saarinen Tables and stools.

The designer was inspired by the Mediterranean cues of the architecture and successfully melded the warm transitional style of the house with  both contemporary and transitionally styled furniture pieces.  The living room features upholstery by A. Rudin, custom side and console tables, and a B&B Italia Apta coffee table.

The residents of this Brentwood home acheived a minimalist design with several pieces from 407, including the Lake Sectional in blue heathered wool boucle, Otto To Go in 407's landmark wool tweed, KC Table in solid Birch and two small tables in solid pecan. Art by Michael Moon.

Chicago's Vermilion Restaurant gets a punch of color in a comfortable perch from Kiwi Armchair in red leather.

The Kuhlhaus 02 Project in Manhattan Beach is by Lean Arch and is the second in a series of high end sustainable homes which are Green Point Rated.  The residence is in the Gaslight District of Manhattan Beach, California and features several Botanist Series benches and tables in the home.  The Botanist benches and tables are made from recyled aluminum giving this sustainable project added green points and LEED points.  Featured here is the Botanist Flora End table in pink. 

This weekend retreat in the Hamptons features the FK87 Grasshopper Chair from Fabricius Kastholm. A perfect lounge for taking in the view.

This contemporary loft features a Bulthaup kitchen with an eleven-foot Cararra marble island, top of the line appliances, end-grain wood floors, and custom-designed furniture such as the Riddling Rack Table.

MADE IN POLAND. Neues Design aus Polen - this exhibit which ran through the summer featured the best of the Polish design. The exhibition highlighted spectacular Polish achievements in industrial design, furniture, interior decoration and food products after 1989. Featured here is Plumm Range - elements are combined to accomodate a number of seating arrangements.

The Great Bay Restaurant (www.gbayrestaurant.com) in the Hotel Commonwealth in Boston features the Communal Dining Table designed by Quentin Kelley.  The resaurant offers some wonderful spaces for entertaining and enjoying a meal out.  The dining table is made of ash with a black lacquer finish. 

In a casually elegant style, PK 22 Easy Chairs are contrasted with a dark wood low table. The simple forms are in harmony with the natural setting beyond.

This contemporary loft was designed as a "Smart Home" - lighting, fans, window treatments, HVAC, digital music and AV can all be controlled entirely via remote and integrated keypads.  The living room features B&B Italia upholstery, accent tables designed by Philippe Starck, the Eames Walnut Stool, and custom built-in millwork.

This simple master bedroom is the beneficiary of lots of natural light from an interior window above the bed and huge windows that pour light through the stairwell to the adjacent landing. The room features E4 Furniture's 3 Over 4 Dresser and 3 Over 4 Night Table

E4 Furniture's  3 Over 4 Desk was used in this West Los Angeles children's bedroom. The room features an oversized sliding door that enables the children to "borrow" additional room on the second floor landing as an expanded play area.
